Issues Addressed

  • The color for a hyperlink, when included in the Broadcast message, conflicts too much with the coral background color and makes it difficult to read (SQ-5436)

Improvements

  • A new SquaredUp Cloud tile and provider has been added, allowing you to embed your SquaredUp Cloud tiles into your DS dashboards (SQ-5282)
  • A new Matrix tile editor allows you to edit the columns section of Matrix tiles on the fly using a new interface, so you no longer need to edit the JSON. The new Matrix Rows tab on the System page uses the same editor to also allow you to easily edit your saved row perspectives (SQ-5307)
  • A message broadcasting system has been implemented which allows you to enter markdown content to show on all dashboards (SQ-5138)
  • You can now run Tasks against multiple objects on Status Donut, Alert Donut, Alert Heatmap and Alert Scalar drilldowns (SQ-4035)
  • You can manually define an interval for how often a task on a SCOM Task tile runs. To support this feature caching has been added to all task tile results (SQ-3203)
  • You can now add a tile above another tile when editing a dashboard (SQ-4108)
  • DS has been upgraded to use PowerShell 7.4.6, so if you use .NET Core in your PowerShell tiles you'll need to upgrade to .NET 8.0 (SQ-5323)

Issues Addressed

  • Maintenance mode no longer defaults to the Selected object and all contained objects option (SQ-5371)
  • Export to Excel uses UTC time for Local Time (SQ-5360)
  • Bar Graph sort ignores bars with '0' value (SQ-5354)

Improvements

  • Matrix tile improvements:
    • Matrix tile column sorting is now persisted so that the sort configuration is remembered whenever you load or refresh the page. (SQ-4887)
    • A new custom celltile type of scalar has been added to matrix tiles. (SQ-3357)
  • Alerts donut tile improvements:
    • Setting a task for an alert object in has been streamlined with the inclusion of two new Task buttons, added to the alerts tile and alerts perspective. (SQ-4764, SQ-3198)
    • Now, the full list of alert grouping properties are available for Alert donut tiles, including the custom alert fields that are provided by System Center Operations Manager. (SQ-1830)
    • Now, it is possible to update update ticket IDs for multiple alerts at a time directly from the alerts tile. Additionally, when an external ticket hyperlink is configuredthe corresponding alert's ticket ID is now automatically hyperlinked for the Alert. (SQ-4788)
    • A new diagnostics row visualization has been added to the alerts tile donut and heatmap (SQ-2427)
    • A Sort option has been added to the donut settings for the Alerts tile, bringing it inline with donut tiles in other areas of the application. (SQ-1830)
  • Clicking the centre (total) value on SCOM Alert, SCOM Status and ServiceNow Donut tiles now takes you to a drilldown page of all objects or alerts (for SCOM Status and Alerts donut tiles), or to a list of all incidents / change requests in the ServiceNow portal for ServiceNow donut tiles. (SQ-5229)
  • A tile fullscreen mode has been added. (SQ-5281)
  • You can now rename a provider by simply selecting it on the Integrations page and editing the name field. (SQ-4653)
  • Dashboard Server Security Improvements (SQ-5312)

Issues Addressed

  • When a user changes any field that is stored in the "Alert.vAlertDetail" table, the Most Recent and Currently Open SQL (Grid) tiles on the Alert Analytics perspective show the wrong number of records. (SQ-3536)
  • When attempting to update report availability for EA status, an error occurs. (SQ-5080)
  • Resolved Cloud connectivity issue for the EAM-X MP (SQ-5292)

  • When the browser is set to use Arabic as the display language, the Date Heatmap does not show any data and an error is logged in the browser (SQ-5215)
